A “Red Team” operation is simply a test and assessment of the security procedures and protocols you have in place. Based on the issues identified appropriate changes can be made to close security gaps.

Frequently a variety of security procedures, hardware, and security personnel have been put in place at a facility to heighten “security.” However, there may be unforeseen security weaknesses that go unidentified because there has never been a security incident and the security measures in place haven’t been tested. “Red Team” operations are discretely conducted efforts at probing and attempting to bypass security measures that are in place. Only key administrative personnel are aware of the operation. Upon completion of the assessment a full report, including recommendations for changes, are submitted for review.
